Welcome to the parish website of the Killaloe Union of parishes. The parish comprises the five churches of St Flannan’s Cathedral, Killaloe; St Caimin’s Church, Mountshannon; St Cronan’s, Tuamgraney; All Saints’. Stradbally; and St Senan’s, Clonlara, details of all of which you will find on this site.
The parish is full of history, both in terms of buildings and of people associated with them, and indeed both Killaloe and most especially Tuamgraney can claim a special connection with no less a figure than Brian Boru, High King of Ireland from 1002-1014. Even more importantly, though, each church is a warm and vibrant worshipping community, and while we sincerely hope that you enjoy visiting this website, we also hope that if your “virtual visit” should ever become a real one, then you will take the opportunity to join us in our worship.
God bless you.
